Book Review "The School Revolution by Ron Paul"

The School Revolution provoke our consideration to some issues in education while reminding us of examples and events in recent history. Ron Paul demands that people take responsibility for their own lives, learn a little about what really going on, and take small steps in the right direction. “Enough small steps made by enough people have the power to change the world”, said Ron Paul.

Ron Paul has suggested to us that phase two of the revolution should be
education and training of the next generation of students. He said that there can be no extension of liberty without personal responsibility. Furthermore, Ron Paul shows the linkage between libertarians and conservatives through the issue of education. The libertarian cannot be free if everyone around him has become a zombie for the Government. Likewise, the traditional conservative will have neither virtue nor order if the State’s policy is everywhere . People must learn to use their right to choose if they wish to be free. "There can be no increase of liberty without a parallel increase in responsibility" and "Self-government is the basis of liberty" are the sentences used by Ron Paul.

Ron Paul explain his strategy for educational reform, compare public education to the U.S. Post Office and stating, "families have the final say in the content and structure of education for their children." He not only points out parents saying, "One size does not fit all", but he also points out some of statement, such as "as a student becomes more mature, he becomes less dependent upon any teacher." He discusses what students need and told us about the benefit of online education.

This book is easy to read, and it flows quite well. In this book, we're given an interesting information at Ron Paul's life in politics and in personal life, recent politics and history surrounding the current educational system, and common strategies for dealing with many of the issues we face. This is a great book for conservative-minded parents, in my personal opinion. There is a lot of truth here for parents who raising kids for the future. Online education is clearly very cost-effective. However, I worry about the health of  child's eyes and the lack of interaction with others in online education.

Actually, this is not the kind of book I usually read. I found this just because my sister ask me to make a review about education book for his english assignment. So, here's my review.  If you are interested to read this book, go ahead, because the point there quite good. May be you could do some revolution for children around you by yourself. that'll be amazing!
