Greta have to live with her new family since her mother married Randy. That include his pricky son, Elec. First thing she feel about this news is "Yes! finally I got sibling", and after she find out what kind of stepbrother she got, then "Oh my, my stepbrother is a hot asshole". On their first time they face each other, Elec had manage to make Greta want to
punch him on his face, of course it'll never gonna happened. She love her mom after all.
Elec always happy to get a rise out of Greta every time. Of course, Greta doesn't happy with it, but it's better than him being ignorant. Sound lame, cause the truth is she like her stepbrother. She even jelous when her bestfriend flirting with Elec. Despite the fact that Elec always annoy her, He really care about her. More than care. One day he take a guy who date Greta down because he talk dirty about his Greta. He don't want Greta heard this and get hurt, so he just keep quite. No matter that she think Elec is the evil man.
Greta not really like the guy, so she let that matter go. And they get along well. Greta care about Elec. She stand up for him when his father abused him verbally. Elec always tried to make her laugh after she cried, despite the fact that he's the one who make her cry because of his stupid joke. They have their moment. Until Elec have to move to California to take care of his mom which just get out from hospital. This parting make her hearth broken into piece, cause she love him so much. No contact, no message. Until they meet again seven years later.
This book really good for young adult. the scene is hilarious. Especially, the part when Elec take all of Greta's underwear to revenge her act when she take all his cigarette. It's funny, really the kind of silly thing tennager do. Well, not all of the scenes is happy funny. There's a part when I feel mellow and sad, such when Elec father abused him verbally and when Elec and Greta have to be apart. It's really sad.
How they meet again? What will happened to them next? Will they found their love for each other when they meet again seven years later? Let's find out!
